Why did Al Qaeda attack us.
There are a number of Reasons why Al Qaeda Attack the twin towers on 9/11. What most people believe to be the main reason was to provoke war with the US. Al Qaeda wanted to start a Jihad or a Holy war with the US. This is something the US. Was trying to avoid. Al Qaeda was made of mostly Muslims. And they didn’t like our religions simply because they were different than there’s. Osama Bin Laden the leader of Al Qaeda believed in uniting the Muslims and forming a monarchy.
Several other reason for their attack are our support of Israel and the Jews. The Al Qaeda wanted the Jews to be gone, and Israel along with them. There were also our sanctions in Iraqi. They wanted US. Gone they did not like our presence there and were going to do anything it took to get us out. But in the end there plan back fired because we ended up sending more troops to fight them off.
I personally think they did it just to prove they could. The try and state they were a force to be reckoned with. They wanted to go pick a fight with someone. And in their case it looks like they chose the wrong person or country. In the end I feel it will be a while before we have to worry about them again.
