Defiance was a true story in which Germany was killing all the jews. The jews were forced to survive in the woods with very little food and no shelter. The movie was based off the Bielski Outraid. This group was led by Tuvia and Zus Bielski. For this group to stay alive they had to join forces with the Soviet Union. Each person in the group had to have a role each day. If one person messed up their job they may all die. When winter came most of the group became ill and needed medicine. So Zus and Tuvia stole medicine from a German camp. After winter is over the German forces plan an attack on the Bielski Outraid. The group had to retreat through the woods and marsh. After they got out of the marsh the Germans were waiting with a tank and a bunch of soldiers. Zus and some other people from the group snuck around the woods while others distracted them and killed all of them.
This movie was really good and inspiring. I can't believe what they all did to the jews.
