Pearl Harbor
The movie starts out with these two little boys practicing on an airplane they built in the military. They hop into a real airplane of one of the boys fathers and they accidently take off. They never really get into the air but it is probably something that will remember and assume will be pilots in the war. Then it takes them to their training with each other and getting in trouble with each other. One of the friends gets asked to go and fight for the british and he goes and fights. Which he also falls in love with one of the nurses. The movies shows for a while them falling and love and him having to tell her that he is going off to fight.
So he ends up getting there and almost every pilot that is going. Also the question is still when the the U.S. going to get into the battle. While Japan is planning to bomb pearl harbor. The friend that is not going to fight is moved to pearl harbor along with his friends girlfriend. They believe it is paradise but they have no idea what is coming for them. As he is fighting for the british it is not what he think it would be like. It is a lot more difficult and lonely. The soldiers in pearl harbor act like it is almost impossible to get attached and have not worries. Which the Japanese are planning and creating things that will take us down. Then they take it back to the Rafe who is going into battle. He is warned about an oil leak and he leaves anyway. While in the battle it blows and he goes down into the ocean and seems to be dead.
On the ship there is a black cook who is not allowed to fight in the war for being black, but he is the best fighter on the whole ship. Which is just showing how stupid it was to not let the blacks fight and how much more it could of helped. The black cook says he has to do it do get respect.
The give Rafes girl friend the news about Rafe lost. She ends up falling in love with Danny and Rafe comes back thinking that he was dead. Rafe and Danny get into a fight and when they wake up the next day they are getting bombed. They end up putting it aside and working together to do what they can and fight back during the bombing.
After the bombing they are asked to go on a mission to attack them back. It is more or less a suicide mission and they do it without telling the soldiers that will not have enough fuel. They find land and are bombarded by japanese troops. Danny ends up dying for Rafe saving him so Rafe could go back to the love of his life.
