Fury
Summary:
Near the end of World War 2 as the Allied forces were making their final push into Germany a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank called Fury and her five-man crew in a deadly mission behind enemy lines. While they are ride into Germany taking town by town Wardaddy and his crew are given new orders to go with the three last tanks left in their company to stop enemy advancement further in the countryside. On their way deeper into Germany they encounter a German Panther tank which destroys the other three tanks before Fury outmaneuvers it and destroys it. Not long after Fury runs over a land mine and becomes too damaged to move. With their tank immobilized and no radio for help the crew are the only ones left to stand off against of a company of over 200 soldiers. Outnumbered and outgunned they face impossible odds in a heroic attempt to attack at the heart of Germany.
Rating and opinion:
I give this movie a 5 out of 5. It was a little too gory for me but it still was a really good movie. It was historically accurate and it did a great job showing the horror and hardships of war.
