On my dads side his ancestors came from Germany and he is also some Indian. They came to america sometime in the middle of World War 2. They took a boat to get here, they wanted to start a new life. We don't know much about my mom's parents. My dads parents settled in Iowa because they wanted to be farmers. My dads dad also wanted to make his own business. Later on in life my dad moved to California to start his own chicken business. The name is Appa Fine Foods.
Interesting Stories-
When my dad was 13 years old he got his arm ran over by a tractor. He was chasing a pig and it ran right by the tractor and he kept running and he tripped and his arm got stuck. When he got it unstuck he ran to the hospital and had a doctor look at because he didn't want to get in trouble with his parents.
Ellis Island-
Hot spot for immigrant inspection coming in to the United States. Was kept running from 1892-1954. Alot of immigrants checked in to this spot if they wanted to get into the U.S.A
