Pearl Harbor Summary-
I watched the movie Pearl Harbor. Rafe and Danny are the two main pilots who train to become part of the Army Air Force crew. Evelyn the nurse that Rafe falls in love with finds out that he dies in a plane crash. Danny as his best friend decides to step in and comfort his friends girlfriend. Later on at a bar somewhere on the island of Hawaii, Rafe decides to come back! As he hears what Danny has done he becomes enraged and starts to go after Danny. The MP break up the bar fight. Danny and Rafe then run off and sleep under the stars to be woken up to the war on Pearl Harbor!
As the war continues in Europe, America still decides to stay out of the war. That is until the Japan decides to bomb Pearl Harbor. Danny and Rafe decide to join bonds and take out some of the Japanese that have done the devastating bombings. As the war thins out and memories are still burned into peoples minds. Later on in the movie, Roosevelt decides to retaliate against Japan. Thus, leading to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
I feel like it portrayed what happened at pearl harbor very vividly. It showed the bombing of pearl harbor and the atomic bomb droppings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I felt that it was a good movie for many reasons! One of them was that they kept the movie almost exactly as it had happened so long ago! They taught me how the pilots had to do many other things that they didn't know how to do! Such as take off of an aircraft carrier! Their runway was only 300 feet! Compared to the 2,300 feet that they are used to!
