Archduke Franz Ferdinand was the prince of Hungary and Austro. He was eventually assassinated on June 14, 1914. Which kinda started the WWI.
Ferdinand was born in 1863 with the parent of Carl Ludwig. About twenty years after he was born, he joined the Hungary and Austro army and searved in that for a little while. There were some achievements that he made while he was in the army. He first got promoted to captain in 1885. Three years later, he was promoted to major in. Colonel in 1890, and finally general six years later than that. I think that he made some good progresses while he was in the army. Many years later, he became the inspector general in the army also.Franz went past a police station thing on June 28, 1914, and saw granades being thrown at him. He went to the city hall and went to the hospital. At that point, he really wasn't that bad, but after leaving the hospital, Gavrilo Princip, was around and shot the Archduke and his wife. They were both severely injured, and I guess the guy who shot them got what they wanted and nobody did anything about it till several days later.
