SORT 2003- Strategic Offensive Reductions Treaty- Stocked and Reserved Nuclear Weapons would be cut in half by 2012, achieved in 2007; lasted till 2011 then NEW START
NEW START- signed by Obama and Medvedev- The # of strategic nuclear missile launchers will be cut in1/2, new inspection and verification system set up, until 2012
United Nations- Organization designed to establish WORLD PEACE; but will wage war if needed
- Security Council-An Alliance that decides whether to wage war DEFENSIVELY on people
- General Assembly- The whole country comes out into New York and discusses topics
