Monday- No school
Tuesday-We first went over this weeks new forum post leader. Now we are going over the cold war PowerPoint still. Some of the semester test questions include Understand the causes and effect of the major events in the cold war. Talk about and understand what happened in the Korean conflict. Talk about and understand the Vietnam conflict. There are 4 main things of the cold war Communism, Democracy, Socialism, capitalism. In capitalism there is very inequality money whys. This makes it that bill gates makes way more than your average teacher. The positive is though the harder you work the more your going to get paid, As i see it this really doesn't matter to allot of people there lazy anyway. The Bosch ilk revolution was were the soviet union fought and eventually became Communism this was the first country ever to do that. Joseph Stalin eventually took over.
Wednesday- We are gonna go over are words and it going to take the whole period so these notes will be about those notes. KGB was pretty much the CIA for the soviet union. The domino theory was widely espoused during the cold war were if one of the main country s fell all of the country's around it would turn to communism. This is why the us yous to help are enemy's after the war so they wouldn't turn to Communism. Policy of containment this was a policy that tried to stop the spread of communism. We did everything in are power to help stop this. The Truman doctrine was diffidently aimed at greese and turkey and that stated that we would help them. We never did end up sending troops but we did send lots of replies.
Thursday- We are still going over the words and im pretty sure with get done with them today.We are starting with the iron curtain speech wich was a speech about the iron curtain. The speech its self was given by Winston Churchill in 1946 at a university in USA. What he meant by the iron curtain was that he was string a thing agasnt the communist country's in Europe. CIA was the USA investigating unit to other country. Apparently they did alot of shady of things in the 60s. Peaceful coexistence Was a theory bye the soviet union that capitalism and and communism dont work together.
Friday- We are doing a quick review then were going over the rest of the presentations.
