- there were many girls that were nurses

- women were typers

- they worked in factories to

- The women army core women taking jobs like radio operators ect.

African-Americans

- did not fight with whites

- they were segregated

Henry Kaiser

- He was an owner of a ship company

- He made boats that helped us in the seas

Hollywood

- they made us look like we were doing the right thing

- made others look bad and cruel

Bob Hope

- died in 2004

- started dancing and singing

- he had a show with the all American football team

- he entertained the troops

John Wayne

- most famous actor and made tons of WWII movies

Rationing

- sugar milk meat gas

- you were giving stickers and that told you how much you got

- horse meat was one of the things that were not rationed
