D-day

The weather they wanted was a full moon and they had to delay because of bad weather. Germans placed obstacles all over the bay. The seas were high so it was hard for navigation. Most of them drifted eastwards. Omaha was the most heavily fortified. They had mortars artillery and machine guns. There were leaderless in the first 10 min. We pushed them back over time and eventually we took over the beach. The first wave kind of pushed forward as far as possible then the second wave came and broke free.
