Tuesday- There have been riots in Boston- Freddy Grey (25 yrs) who is an African American who was arrested and put in shackles. He was shoved in a car and severed his spine because of the way the police men handled him. Freddy Grey later died that night at the hospital and now there have been many stores that have had things stolen, buildings stared on fire, and many other riot activities. (Witnesses said that Grey started to run when the police spotted him and later found out that he had a pocket knife in his possession.
The Government is going to have a trial over the power of states being able to legalize gay marriage. Some think that it should be an amendment, while others believe that the states should be able to decide individually.

Thursday- The Freddy Grey incident has been investigated and now reporters say that he tried to injure himself in the back of police car. A prisoner said that it sounded like he was trying to get either medical attention or just get attention. Police do have the right to stop people if they are near a serious area of a crime and a sort of nervous behavior. They can also people down if they feel that their life is in danger. Police can shoot when they believe that the suspect is a danger to them or others as well- Police need to stop and apprehend before they use deadly force.
