Monday - We went over forum post and presentations. We played our Social Issues video today and had a good discussion.
Tuesday - We talked about what was happening in Baltimore with the cops and we watched a video on gay marriages. We have a class quiz over the southwest side of the US map. We watched some Social Issues videos.
Wednesday - We took our class quiz and got 10/10. We went over the rest of the states and will have a class quiz on them on Tuesday. We will have the overall quiz on Thursday. We watched a couple of Social Issues videos.
Thursday - We watched a video on the Freddy Grey/Baltimore police riots. We also watched a video on when a police officer can stop you and another video on when police can shoot. We watched some more Social Issues.
When Can Police Stop You
- If you flee without reason
- If they are suspicious
When a Police can shoot
- If they have reasonable fear for safety
- They are supposed to apprehend not shoot
Friday - We watched Undocumented, a video on illegal immigration, because Mr. Bruns was gone.
