nagasaki.
bombing started on the morning of august 9th... about 30 people survived hiroshima.. fled to nagasaki to be bombed. more people died after the bombing because of radiation sickness. nobody knew that we were going to bomb japan.
australias role.... played a rold in the new guinea campaign. provided large land for air and naval bases prisoners of war held up by japanese,
kamikaze attacks.
suicide attacks that japan used .. destroyed the enemies ship. a person would intentionally fly into a ship causing it to sink
59% of our ships were destroyed by our submarines we would cut off almost all of japans oil imports .
