Alexander Litvinenko

Alexander Litvinenko was a Russian KGB agent, turned dissident and possible MI6 agent. On November 1st he went to Loundon Sushi resraunt Itsu. At the time of going to the restraunt he was recieving evidence on another murder. On, November 3rd Alexander was rushed to Barnet General Hospital in London due to deteriorating health. He died three week after being atmitted into the hospital. He had been suffering from acute radiation syndrome spawned from exposure to the radioactive polonium-210. It is thought that Litvinenko was poisened by a cup of tea in his hotel room.

Litvinenko stated that he met with two former KGB agents on the day Dmitry Kovtun and Andrei Lugovoi. Both denyed of doing anything wrong. Lugovoi was also a former bodyguard of Russian ex-priime minister Yegor Gaidar (who also suffered from a mysterious illness in November 2006). Later Lugovoi had lunch at Itsu, a sushi restaurant in London, with an Italian acquaintance and nuclear waste expert Mario Scaramella.Alexander Litvinenko died at the age of 44.
