About Me

My name is Payton Brianna larsen. I was born onto this earth on July 25 1994 at 8:52 a.m and I have now lived 14 exciting years and I am on my 15th. I am a freshman at Harlan Community High School. Gloria Joanne Larsen is my mother. Her maiden name was ohsbar until she married Todd Dewayne Larsen at age 25. They both grew up in avoca, ia knowing each other since they were little. The interesting thing about my parents getting together is that my mother(Gloria) had a best friend named Micky(Michelle) all the way threw elementry, middle, and high school.She had a brother named Todd who just so happens to be my dad now. I don't know about you but if i had a brother I dont know if I would want my best friend maring him. Than again if i think about it it might be the thing you need to be tied to them for life. Speaking of siblings I have two of them. Two sisters to be exact. We are all spread four years apart in age.

My older sister is Paige Valise Larsen. She is 19 now and a freshaman in collage at Creighton University to be a pharmasist. I'm very unhappy to see her go to collage because I'm very close to her. Paige is a hard worker and always has been. She loves to tell people what to do but that might mean shes a born leader and not a follower. Periann Clairee Larsen is my younger sister. She is 10 years old and in 5th grade at Westride Elementry school.She most definetly has a mind of her own. Most of the time she thinks shes the oldest of the three of us and what she says goes. It makes me very angry and it doesn't always end up well, but i love her anyway.From being an anything but thin baby to an athletic fifteen year old I have grown up to cows, tractors, combines, and semis. I have always lived five miles south of Harlan on a farm in a white old house. I entertain myself on my farm very well. From spending hours on learning new tricks that could kill me on my trampoline, to riding around on the fourwheeler. Having to help my dad is not a chore or a job. It's just something I have to do and have done ever since i was young and now with my big sister paige gone working has become longer and more difficult, but I know it will pay off in the end.My Favorite season is summer. One reason is becuase my bithday falls in the summer and the other is because I get to go to my favorite place in the whole world. Okoboji!! My family and I travel the two and a half hour drive up to the Great Lakes of Iowa every weekend. We have a cabin right on the shore of east lake and have always had a boat to tube and ski with. I learned to water ski with two skis at the age of six. Sking developed into a very fun and exciting habit that i was good at. By age seven I was able to get up ski all the way across the lake on only ONE ski. Flying across the water at 60 miles and hour on a blow up tube may seem like fun when your standing on land but really somtimes it can be very frightening. I have leaned to conqure my MOST of my fear of slapping the water from falling off the tube, and yes i did say MOST of my fears not all, but its always fun and most often I don't get to hurt.Last year my dad's sister Micky, her husband Denny, and their three kids Brogan the age of 19, Daylon,16, and Reegan,14, bought a cabin about 21 houses down from ours. The houses are fairly close together so it's walking distance for my sister and I to go when ever we feel like it. Wich happens to be most of the time we are up there. I love having Brogan there to make me laugh and Reegan to shop and tan with me. Daylon and I are both the middle children of the family and they like to call us the wild childs. We spend most of our time on our sea doo wave runners raceing each other to see who has the faster water craft. It's a guilty pleasure to see the defeat on his face when I beat him with my newer and more horsepower wave runner. Being by the water all the time has basically made me into a fish.Every summer since the age of seven I have been in the Harlan Swim Team, so if im not swimming at the lake I'm swimming at the pool. Swim has been fun every year I have been it and I do not plan to quit until I finish high school. This year was a very powering year for me with many wins and gettting the award of freestyler of the year. My other sport or hobby you may call it is dancing and gymnastics. I have been doing them both now for 10 wonderful years. I spend 5 hours a week at Tiarks School of Dance in Harlan. Both of them make me very happy and I do not plan to give either of them up.

Well thats a little about me. I'm sure there is more but thats the big overview. Lets just say i'm a farm girl who ski's and does swiming, danceing, and gymnastics. I hoped you learned many new things about me.
