..Yes, you read it right. A flying car has been in the making for some time. I simply cannot imagine cars hovering above the road. It's crazy yet amazing!! Now its ready to be tested! Its called the Transition Roadable Aircraft and its made by Terrafugia, a company in Woburn, Massachusettes...While in car mode, it has two seats. The Transition has front wheel drive. You sit in it just like any other normal car. The gas tank can hold 20 gallons and gets up to 30 miles a gallon! The fastest this crazy flying car can go in car mode, is sixty five miles an hour. Its not real fast, but rarley do you have to go very far over 65 anyway...However, the car is quite large. When it is in car mode and has the wings folded down, it is six foot nine inches tall. When it is in car mode, it is about 19 and a half feet long...The Transition in airplane mode, can go 115 miles per hour. While it is in the air, it goes through 5 gallons of fuel an hour. In airplane mode, it is 19 feet 2 inches long. The wingspan is 27 feet, 6 inches long... The cost of a flying car is around $194,000 .Even though this flying car is kinda big, pretty pricey, and doesn't go very fast, i would still love to drive one. Ha that would be so cool to roll up to school in a flying car!
