Today, in class, we started doing our Presentations. Mr. Bruns talked about how we is gonna upload our powerpoints to our website. As it turns out, I emailed my PowerPoint to my gmail incorrectly. One simple 'x' after the ppt in the file name makes all the difference in the world. Bruns also showed us how to embed our presentations. This was rather time consuming, or so it felt.
The chumps of chapter five went first. "Cultures Clash on the Prairie" was the title. It was about the four important tribes that resided in the Great Plains, which is a grassland extending throughout the west central portion of the US. THe four tribes were Dakota, Cheyennes, Sioux and Comanche. Buffalo were extremely important as a source of food. The indians used the traditional bow and arrow as their primary weapon, and used horses as a mode of transportation. They believed in gods of nature, ie sun, moon, stars. They had strong morals, and believed that you need to respect the elderly and listen to their life lessons.
Then we ran out of time. pew pew (gun noises)
