Today in US History, Mr. Bruns was absent so we had a substitute, Mrs, Vis. We had the entire time to work on our powerpoint presentations. While working on my powerpoint for "The New Immigrants" I learned that the Chinese were treated very poorly. The people in Angel Island who were testing them to see if they were able to go into the US, answered difficult questions in attempt to purposfully fail them so they would have to go back home. I found a few pictures for my powerpoint, not exactly one for all the slides, but close enough.Everything else I did on my powerpoint I already knew, but I looked up some more information to reflect further on the subjects.
