Today in CWI, amongst the giddiness of homecoming and the latharginess that is pajama day, we continued our democrat and republican debate.As this progresses, I'm finding that each side has valid points. Obviously, I don't agree with some of the republican or even democratic veiws, but I can definately see the points of both sides.Speaking of this, today we discussed gun control laws. My side, the democrats, is generally very for stricter gun control laws, whilst the republicans generally favor the rights of the person to bear arms as they so choose. Now, I own a gun, for the purpose of trapshooting, and even so, I would support stricter laws. Maybe....senseless death wouldn't be so prominant in society today with these limitations.Thinking about the saving of so many lives...is the reason this topic spoke to me so dearly.
