Today in Class we were talking about the debates we researched on for the last week. The debates that were conversed were gun control, enviromentalism, and affirmative action laws. The issues taht stood out to me the most was the gun control and enviromentalism laws. The reason gun control stood out so musch to me is the fact that my family is conservative, as in my whole family was going for republicans in the 2008 election, my parents for Mike Romney and my brother and I for John McCain. So, you can safely assume that we owns guns. In fact, I have 2. I own a model 1300 Seal brown colored stock finish Winchester shotgun and a .22 Ruger Carbine. Then the enviromental laws are important to me becasue I reallly dont care much for the enviroment and I tend to dislike those who do.The gun control laws compromise our liberties and eliminate our 2nd admendment. After liberals have taken our 2nd admendment, who's to say that they won't take away the first? What would stop them from taking away our first? As Rush Limbaugh once said, "You know why there's a Second Amendment? In case the government fails to follow the first one." And then the enviromentalism limits the basic needs of mankind. Enviromentalists have said that they are glad that 3rd world countries dont have toilets or showers or other basics that are needed to live but would hurt the enviroment. These claims are all liberal trash meant to destroy society. I dont believe them at all.
