Today, in class, we started the hyped up debate on the major issues of both political parties, my side of the class(the obviously cooler, and more sophisticated side) being the Republican side, which I can say I am not, in no offense to anyone. I nailed it, working my butt off, and raising my hand early to not repeat anything. Repeating what others had said is to "beat the dead horse" as Old Man Bruns would say, which is for some reason NOT a good thing. I question this logic.Later in the debate, Mr. Bruns DENIED me of voicing our side's opinion on the issue. I mean, come on, I'm tryin to get my points, bro. We did not get very far through the debate, as we had gotten into intense discussion on the topics we had gotten to. Abortion was the first, which I was quick to say that Republicans belive 'life begins at the conception' which is something I learned from diligent note-taking(word diligent courteous of the 'Beach Games' episode of The Office. See? You can learn stuff from television). Also, Mr. Bruns wouldn't even let me print out my chart on the Republican views before we started. What a joke. (This was aimed at you, I'm calling you out)
