Today for most of the day Mr. Bruns just talked about our project that we will have to do. He told us how he expects us to present. We can't read off of the slides, he would like us to stand in the back of the room so we are facing everyone, and we need to walk around the room.If we read right off of the slides we WILL fail this class. We also continued talking about Al-Qaeda and the was in Afghanistan. There has been over 400 people arrested for being apart of Al-Qaeda. Even people who are American citizens join Al-Qaeda.We first started war in Afghanistan to find Osama bin Laden because of the attacks on 9/11. The US knew that Al-Qaeda was stationed in Afghanistan because Afghanistan let them train their members there. Right now we have about 65,000 troops over in Afghanistan.In 2004 in Afghanistan there was an election held and they are now a democratic government. In '06 NATO took over and became in charge of the Afghanistan war. NATO is our aliance with Canada and other places. Obama is trying to focus on Afghanistan more than Iraq unlike Bush.
