First we talked about the extra credit we could get by going to a speech on saturday. Then we continued with the blog talks we had left.Sarah talked about Al-Qeada some more. She talked about some other small attacks on America. One time they tried to bomb a hotel some Americans were supposed to be staying at. Was a fail because they were staying at a different hotel. Another time before 9-11 happened. The world trade center was attacked by a suicide bomber. The bomb was supposed to effect the foundation enough to make it fall into the other building.Then we talked about the War in Afghanistan. This was the counterstrike to the 9-11 attack. The main goal was to remove the Taliban from power. We were succesful with removing Taliban from power but we couldnt find the Taliban because they hid in the mountains on the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan. this was in October. 2001In 2003 we invaded Iraq. This was basically seperate from the war in Afghanistan.
