Today in US History, we talked about Al Qaeda. They were a terrorist group run by Osama bin Laden , mainly stationed in Afghanistan.They had others stationed around the world. They were responisble for the 9-11 attack and had performed many other terrorist attacks prior to 9-11. They have also performed many more since then.The War on Afghanistan was started on October 7, 2001. Soon after the War on Iraq was started, and Bush focused more on Iraq then Afghanistan. Obama is redirecting the focus on Afghanistan. Recently, the enemy has been seeming to pull themselves back together.We then went over our presentation expectations and how he would like us to present and how we will be graded.
