Today we learned about the 9-11 attacks. They took 4 planes and there were 19 highjackers. The first hit one twin tower and the 2nd hit the other tower. The 3rd hit the pentegon and the 4th went into a field. Around 3000 people died. Washinton didnt declare a state of emergency and Bush was reading to little children. they are going to put up a freedom tower where the two towers fell.The taliban was a goverment of pakisstan. They came to power in 1996. They are very strict to women They made women where clothes that cover them from head to toe. They are training young children to shoot weapons and kill people from when they were as young as 6. Women play like second class citicens. They were anti-modren, they also banned women to have jobs, play sports, or go to school. They are gaining power.Alqaeda a terosit network or a group of people. They are more powerful then the taliban. They were formed in the late 1900's. They are known for running planes into towers.
