We discussed 9-11 and assigned blogs. In 1996 to late in 2001 Taliban started to take over Af. government. Muilah Mohammed Omar was the leader of the Taliban. The Taliban enforced strict rules over woman. They most be dressed from head to toe, wear no make up, and if skin was shown they would be whipped. Also they had no employment, education, or could not play sports. Oct 7, 2001we invanded AF during this time pro-football was not taking place and no commercial flights were taking place.
