Today brought back pain, rocking out to a song from Hercules (Best movie ever!), and embracing my inner Who.Actually, though all of that did happen, this is not the place to discuss it. Find me later if you are messed up enough to be truly interested in the above.Sorry, I digress. Today in CWI we focused on our free-choice blogs and our blogs about torture. It was actually a very tough thing for me to listen to, considering how graphic it became.I did learn more about Abu Graighb (Sorry Mr. Bruns if I spelled that wrong) prison, and again it was very hard to listen to. We spoke mainly about the humiliation and pain of all the people held there, some guilty and some innocent. Denials rose, saying all the allegations were isolated incidents, but as we discussed it further, we al realized it wasn't. We realized it was orchestrated by a higher-up somewhere in the chain. Its infuriating, the pain that we inflict on others. And we're supposed to be advanced? We're supposed to be sophiticated and kind? It really doesn't seem like that to me.Anyways, I'm glad that the majority of the conversation is over. Also, much love Mr. Bruns, for making the test written and on Thursday.
