Monday- Quickly discussed the new judge nominee's process over getting placed in but having trouble with alleged sexual assault. Then we discovered that we knew nothing in the yugoslavian part of the Europe map.
Lily and Maci- 2 types of animal abuse, physical (beating) and passive (neglect). Dog fighting- illegal gambling sport where you make dogs fight. started in the 1750's. Owners give them narcotics and anabolic steroids to fight better. some signs- dirt ring on neck, heavy chains, multiple scars on them, and ripis in their ears.
Shelby and Avery- Melania Trump- immigrated from Slovenia. Now wife to 45th prez, got married on Jan 2, 2005. Only 1st lady to be 3rd wife of president. Went through a lot of backlash when Trump came out that he was running for prez.
Tuesday- Took class quiz over the former yugoslavian countries. Then Shelby and Avery continue their presentation over Ivanka Trump. Ivanka copied Michelles speech. In 2000 she began her own skin care line. accomplishments- brought christmas to the white house, brought tours back to the white house, helped with hurricane harvey. wants to help with bullying as first lady, and has a big focus on children. Donald is the least favorable of the trumps, while melania is the second, and ivanka is the 1st.
lucas and jeremiah- school shootings. most shootings happen because of cyber bullying, verbal bullying, physical bullying, trama at home. 71% of attackers have been bullied. some school shooters had schizophrenia or mental splitting, but it's very rare. only 1/3 has been tested for diseases, and only 1/5 had been diagnosed with mental disorders. sometimes target people because of racism, sexism, and their religion. 93.5% of shooters are male. 25% of shooters commit suicide. 15% of shooters kill more than 2 people. most people don't want to blame mental health because they're afraid it will cause people to think all mental health people are shooters. doctors are overdiagnosing people.

Thursday- took the europe test!
Friday- Christine Ford emotionally testified that Kavanaugh did try to rape her, and that she was sexually assaulted. She might be making it up because of money people are giving her to bring Kavanaugh down. Some people think George Sorus or another liberal person might be paying her to say this to take down Donald Trump. Lucas and Jeremiahs presentation- Columbine shooting- only reason they did it was to cause chaos. Eric Harris, Dylan Klepod both commited suicide after shooting. Sandyhook - 20 year old Adam Lanza. No motive was found. Killed 26 people and injured 2. HIs mother worked at the school, but no one knew why. Got a lot of weapons from his mom and grandmother, Virginia Tech- was student there. Seung-Hui Cho. killed 32 people and injured 17. Was diagnosed with anxiety. Hated weathly people. Commited Suicide afterwards. Left a video on youtube explaining why he did it.
