Myths attempt to explain such things as: Nature- Where did earth come from? Heavons? Seasons?

- Used the sea as a means of transportation
Due to the mountains, transportation over land was difficult at that time
Greeks did not have much fertile land for agriculture, unlike the early civilizations that we discussed
