Greatest Inversions- Credit Card, Power Steering, Video Tape recorder, Hydrogen Bomb, McDonald's, Laser, Non stick pans. 

Women's Fashion Trends Freedom, Wandering waistline, Ankle Length dresses, Brooches, one inch heels. Fur-Beaver, Lamb fur, Astrakhan, Mink. Color Trend- Charcoal Grey, Greens, Blues, Royal blue & black combo, White and Gold, Orchard Pink. 

Men's Fashion Trends- Silk suits, different color upper to lower suite, hats.

Sports- Dominated by baseball and boxing, Football was rising. Basketball was still underestimated.

Presidential Elections- 1972 Richard Nixon defeats George McGovern. Jimmy Carter defeated Gerald Ford. Nixon was a republican, Carter was a democrat. Ended draft. Desegregation. Vietnam War. Donated 100 million to help cancer research. 

Major Historic Events- Kent State Massacre, Disney World opened, Nixon first president to visit China. SNL makes debut 1975 Microsoft was founded. Apple releases computer, Sears tower opens, Twin Towers opened. Nuclear Accident.
