We took a pre-test on what we are doing this semester and to see what we know about it. We are still talking about the 8th grade review blogs and I think we will have to go till Monday cause we still have a few left. Ha, ya , so we talked about the Mexican-American War and the Lincoln Presidency.Mexican-American War--We were kind of just looking for a reason to fight. We kind of tricked them into fighting. We were fighting over the land.Lincoln Presidency--He was famous for his Emancipation Proclimation which was to free the slaves from the Confederate States. Some Important laws he sighned was the Homestead Act which was cheaper land in the West. The Transcontinental Railroad. He created the first U.S. tax and Thanksgiving.
