First we talked bout mexican american war. The U.S. won and we got texas and californa. It was mexican session. Mexico lost 50 percent of there land. 1733 people died in the war. We pasted the bored that mexico thought was the border but then they invade us by passing the rio grande. Thats what started the war.Lincon as president and Andrew Jonson as vice. The civial war started in the same war. The southern states seced from the union. They thought that lincon was going to take away slavery. The battle of gettysberg was july 1st through the 3rd. All states were abolished slavery in the Emansionpation proclomation. Norths goal in the war was to get the union back together and abolish slavery. Northern people didnt like blacks but they didnt like slavery either. He served 2 terms. The transcontinental railroad was finished in his presidency. He got killed by John wilsks booth.!861-1865 was the cival. It was between north and the south. The north won the war and the loss more solders. The north won the war because it had more resources. The south had better generals and the north had alot of factories. North had iron,farms, railroads,population. North had more food.Next is reconstruction.The reconstruction of the u. s. was more in the south. Arican americans the freemends bereua it helped them get jobs and training. They got split into 12 groups which had a north person in there. The south hated them. Some blacks were able to vote. The south was let bacjk in. It ended in 1827.
