The seventh day of school brought with it realizations of just how amazingly hilariously cool the strip of carpet really is. It also brought worries about musical auditions, serious stress, and being scared into cleaning the weight room. They general feel of the day made everyone ornry in their own way, and it seemed that smiles were in great abundance. Kylie Kleffman chose to try and break her toe, and Brie Hunk surrendered to her "math geek" side. We're finally feeling the effects of High school, and all its pressures. Yet the promise of Christmas break keeps most of us going each day.Sorry, I tend to digress. XD Today in CWI we were finally given the pleasure of finishing our Summer News stories, and the tasks of pushing MJ, Farrah Fawcett, Cash for Clunkers, and H1N1 far from our minds. I'm sure Mr. Brun's is relieved, and it most likely an absolute expert on those four topics now. Whether he wanted to be or not, really doesn't matter I suppose. We also started working on our Power Points, given the task of defining a type of government or economic system. My lovely, prodigious group of amazing ladies was trusted with defining the two types of democracy (these would be representitive and direct).I learned that the athenian government is one of the very few examples of direct democracy, while the United states in an obvious example of representitive. I also learned that Drea refuses to act on any possible occasion that she might be asked. This worries me.Also, I think I'm messed up on my "the ____ day of school" beginnings. If the numbers don't line up and confuse you , then we're in the same boat.
