US History TodayWe FINALLY got to work on computers in class. My computer number is 22! WOOT WOOT!!Our class picked out the people who are in our groups and these people we will be taking quizes with and working on projects throughout the semester. My group is Sarah Konz, Taylor Schuning, and Jenna Petersen. I'm excited to work with these people and learn new things from them.The colonists came to America during the Revolutionary War looking for gold and many other things. Basically Profit. The Revolutionary War was fought between the US and Great Britain. The US won their independance, but had an advantage because they new the land better. (The Revolutionary War was fought in the US.) France helped the US because they previously lost a war to Great Britain.Between 1781 and 1789 the Articles of Confederation came into affect. Thirteen states declaired independance from Great Britain. But, the document failed because of the lack of power.CAN'T WAIT TO LEARN MORE TOMORROW!! :)
