Fidel Castro full name is Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz. Fidel Castro entered law school aht the University of havana and became really interested in politics.
Castro began to have money problems after getting marrie in 1948. Castroo refused to find work and other people had to pay his families bills.
Graduated with a doctor in 1950 and began a small partnership in Havana. this did not last long before the Cuban Revolution that he participated in started.
The Cuban Revolution began with an attack from General Fulgencio Batista on Santiago, Cuba. It was known as Monccada Barracks because that is where Batista focused his attack.
Castro was not executed after being captured during this skirmish. Castro wanted to over throw Batista and he and al lthe other exiles from the Moncada zBarracks known as the 26th of July movement.
Fidel Castro needed new tactics if he was going to over throw Batista. They planned to use underground Guerilla tactics. THis tactic was used when the Cubans tried to revolt against spain and they became known as imperialistic regime.
Operation verano was launched by Batista to crush castro and any other inti governmental groups. Castro's forces defeated the entire battalion at the battle of la plata. After operation verano ended castro ordered three columns to invade central cuba. The weapons that were used in this revolt were from the US. Only twenty of the original 82 revolting people survived and had to retreat tto the sierra maestra mountains. Castro survived.
Castro became the new leader of Cuba on that day in early January.
Castro was declared provision presiden by Dr. Urrutia. Castro became the prime minister cuba on february 16, 1959. He actually became part of the bay of pigs invasion. He became an exhile of cuba.
