China coming to the aid of North Korea and the USSR aiding North Korea with war
supply's.
Korea was decided to be divided up at the Potsdam
Conference in July of 1945, of which U.S.A controlled South Korea after General Hodge arrived to accept the Japanese
surrender there, the USAMGIK refused to acknowledge the government already
established due to it being communist. Korea in whole was joint controlled by the US and USSR, which was agreed on at the Moscow Conference of 1945
which stated that a government was to be established similar to the owner's
ideology after a five year period. All of which was done without talking to the
Koreans knowledge, and the South Koreans revolting in 1945. Of which the
USAMGIK banned strikes soon afterwords. But on 1 October 1946, Korean police killed three students, of which many
protesters killed cops, in the end killing 38 officers, and ending with 10,000
people rushing a police station on October 3 and three cops died. Afterwards
the USAMGIK declared martial law. Eventually Representative Democratic Council
(lead by Syngman Rhee, who would later become the leader of South Korea after
the failure of unification of Korea) protested against the trustee ship of
US-Soviet rule, saying after 35 years of Japanese occupation they didn’t want
another foreign power in control, of which the US agreed, and on 31 March 1948
the UN elected a anti-communist government for South Korea, of which the USSR
demanded that the US honor our agreement of the joint control. Syngman Rhee was
in charge of Republic of South... due to North Korea's communism, the US assumed that it was directly controlled by the Soviets. Soviet soldiers left north Korea in 1948 and US soldiers left south Korea in1949.

North Korea invaded south Korea after crossing the 38th parallel border, of which south Korea responded and raided north Korea, of which North Korea declared it was south Korea who attacked first, after a few hours after the retaliation raid, the UN condemned north Korea's attack, On 27 June 1950 the president sent air and naval forces to help south Korea, and of which the UN security Council declared military help to South Korea, the USSR accused the US of starting armed intervention. On 5 April 1950 the president ordered the movement of 9 Mark-IV nuclear capsules to the Air Force's Ninth Bomb Group, of which he didn't mention anything about until 45 days later, when he said they would be used after the PVA repelled UN forces, the targets were Korean and Chinese.
