Karl Marx promised great riches for China. Marx influenced many people to support Mao and communism. The Great Leap Forward was a campaign started by the CCP. Everyone had to be involved in steel making. Farmers left their crops. Mao was an idiot. Mao killed 40 million people. Many Chinese were trying to overthrow Mao. The Red Guard went around and beat up and killed the protesters. Mao died from a heart attack. The Tienanmen Square Massacre was where the CCP killed civilians. They killed people because they didn't want any more protesters.
NATO
Every country agrees to be allied with everyone in NATO. De-stalinization was trying to stop Stalin from being a God. Peaceful coexistence was where the Soviets and Americans could live.
