Quickly went over the semester test, and what is expected. After that we got back into US diplomacy
Notes:
Isolationism- theory that the US should stay neutral
era of imperialism- big countries taking over small weak ones
WWI- we didn't really start sending big troops until the last year of the war, and that was pretty much the KO punch
return to Normalcy- 1920's that's when we wanted to go back to isolationism, and be neutral, and not take part in stuff that isn't our business.
Great depression- our economy crashed after WWI and we were kinda just stuck like that for a while
WWII- era of hitler, we got involved after japan attacked us, and we kinda just rocked them.
Cold War- the feud between us and russia, we thought there was gonna be nuke warfare, and the world would end
