The Great Society Consumer Advocacy

In 1966 The Great Society Consumer Advocacy had congress to pass a lot of major safty laws. These were the laws passed in 1966 Truth in Packaging Act that law set standards for labeling consumer things. National Traffic and Motor Vechile Safety Act that set the federal safety standards for vehicle and tire industries. There was also Highway Safety Act that demanded request all states to set up highway safety programs. There was one more in 1966 that was Department of Transportation this was made to live with national air and rail and highway transportation. The congress also passed the Wholesome Meat Act of the year1967.
