The interstate highway system is a limited access ways in the United States. This system was named for President Eisenhower. After World War 2 he discovered the usefulness of good roads. He also discovered that efficient roads were harder to destroy than railroads. When we built the new roads we found out that it helped businesses get supplies in and out. This caused the economy to get better.
