Today we continued with Bruns presentation. We talked about how Austria became part of Germany. Talked about sudetenland and the munich Conference.There was four major figures that met at the Munich Conference. Neville Chamberlain-Great Britain. Adolf Hitler-Germany. Benito Mussolini-Italy. Edouard Daladier-France. They said hitler could take over part of Czecholslovakia if he was finished taking over land after that. Hitler lied and said he would do this. Kristallnacht or night of the boken glass is when nazi thugs went around and burned down jewish synogaugs and broke glass on jewish businesses. Then we talked about the Soviet- German non-aggression pact. They depended on eachother for trade with thiss pact. Russia gave raw materials to Germany in exchange for money and weapons. Both agreed to stay neutral if the other entered the war. Secretley agreed to invade and split poland. Germany would get the werstern half and USSR the eastern half. Russia would get Finland, Estonia and Latvia and Germany would get Lithuania. When this act was passed everybody thought something big was going to happen.
