Joe Stalin was the leader before and during WWII. The treaty of V they wanted to stay out of it. They Established the red army. They lost land of poland and some of the smaller countries that tought the ocean. The types of gov they had in inter war years it was communist. How did there come to power. Took control of lands and was a communist. He went to power because someone died and he took over. Leader change prior to WWII. The Bulshivic patry started a revolution and he caused the deaths of 6 million people. He didnt trust people so he shot them.
