They got land and money from Germany.
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)?
1921 –fascist party was established
1925-29 conservative controlled government
1929-31 labor party had greater control over domestic economy

People were comfortable with Winston Churchill, aggressive war leader. He was already a political figure.
4. How did this leader change their country(for the better and worse) prior to WWII?
5. What were the goals of the leader?
Blood, toils, tears, and sweat. Successfully led GB through WWll. Kept fighting until they had won.
6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)?
Try to avoid war. After war started got more aggressive. U.S. began to support GB and give them ammunition.
7. What role did they play in WWII?
Would support Ploand if Germany invaded. Attempted to appease Germany by signing Munich pact- signed in 1938 demanded Sudetenland from Czechoslovakia. Hitler knew GB,Italy, and France did not want to go to war. They gave it to them as long as Germany would not invade anymore land but he lied and said he wouldn’t.

China, France, United Kingdom, U.S., Soviet Union.
9. How did WWII impact/effect the country?
Naval power was hurt really bad it was great before but not now. Food was being rationed, everyone had an income, men and women had to work either in services or mines and factories.
