- How did the Treaty of Versailles impact them?- harshly punished by it because they were blamed of starting the war. They lost land, cut army, had to pay money.
2. What type(s) of government did this country have in the interwar years(1919-1938)?- People had great support in the Nazi Party. It became a dictatorship under Hitler.
3. How did their leader, that led them throughout WWII, come to power? He blamed the Jews for their loss in the war.
4. How did this leader change their country (for the better and worse) prior to WWII?- Hitler came to power when Von Hinderburg died.
5. What were the goals of the leader? To eliminate all the Jews, gain back the land they lost in WWI.
6. What was the military strategy of this country in the inter-war years(1919-1938)?- Using the Blitzkrieg strategy which used tanks and air planes.
7. What role did they play in WWII? Caused most of the war
8. Who were their allies in WWII? Italy, Japan, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Romania (Axis Powers )
9. How did WWII impact/effect the country? Germany was divided into four zones. Nazi Party fell apart. Hitler escaped execution and trial by committing suicide.
