France and britian relationship grew stronger. They got territory back from germaany. Germany also had to pay for damage.

They had a republic government ( free country)

Charles De Gauelle was the general

Charles was only the general so he didn’t change anything.

To get Hitler out of france and to get france from germany.

They declared war on Germany. There defensive strategy was not a very good one. They had the maginot line which the Germanys went around it and not through it so that was pointless.
