What was the New Deal(1st and 2nd) and it's goals(3 R's)?
first new deal was 1933 -1934

differences- pretty much the same. first was to try to save the counrty from depression but we went way over and the second was to fix that.
Why did people criticize the New Deal?
Huey Long- senetor of LA. wanted noone to earn more than 1 million and not less than 4000. critizized b/c they werent distributing wealth enough. was going to run for president but was assasigned.
Why was FDR upset with the US Supreme Court and what did he do to try to solve this issue?
How did the New Deal help:
unemployed
farmers- before AAA huge surplus in crops. came in 1933 and it paid farmers to plant less crops because of over production of crops. After- farmers reduced crops and the price went up and farmers were more stable.Farmers also killed animals and spilled milk. Which made no sence because there were people waiting in line for food. Farm Security Adminastration- strated b/c of the failure of the AAA. bought out little farms that were not economicaly stable. FSA would take unemployed people from new york and cities and put then in iowa, nebraka, and california to build farms. Helped 455,000 farm families. FSA took a lot of picture to document so they could show them to government to help farmers.
TVA - is fedral agency that was established in 1933. TVA helped the area with floods and navigation control. Has one of the largest river basins. passed in 1933 and was successful and is still around today.
