More fpcused on 20-34 year olds. Addiction is worse than dependence. People who use opiods as prescrbed to relieve pain rarely get addicted. Long term use can result in tolerant and dependent. Addiction is craving for the drug and taking it to stay mentally estained and to survive. Using it even when it causes harm. Withdrawl occurs when someone is dependent or addicted stops taking opoids. Symptoms take 6-12 hours. They take the drug so they don't feel sick. The main prescription opiods abuse are Codeine and Oxycodone, hydrocone. Oxycodone is timed release medicine for cancer and back pain. People forge prescriptions rob pharmacies to obtain oxycodone illegaly. People use it by crushing the tablet and swallowing or snorting it or dissoliving it in water. Oxy, OC, kickers killers blue, and hillybilly heroin. Like all oxycodone is highly addictive when it is abused. Heroin is a white dark brown powder. It is often mzed with other substances then you heat up and inject in your bloodstream. It can cause to infections. It causes people to ignore family their job their friends etc. Can lead to weight loss sickness money problems and housing and family problems. Overdose is a danger with heroin. If you get high or addicted it will lead to prison.
