I watched the movie Defiance which is about four Jewish brothers that are trying to survive during the holocaust. It starts out with two of the brother out in the woods hiding and they go back to their house and find there little brother who is hiding and there mother and father dead. They go back out into the woods and stay the night until they meet up with the oldest brother. As they are trying to survive they get more and more people coming to live at their camp in the woods. The two older brothers have tough time getting along at some points the oldest brother believes in getting what they need like food and not killing people. They second brother believes in getting the food and killing the people in their way. So after a couple of night the oldest brother goes to their old house and gets revenge on the people who killed his parents. Which I thought was weird because that is really not what his character acts like. As they movie continues to carry on they have more and more people living at the camp than they had ever expected. Which means they are having to find more and more food. They end up gathering up a couple of guns and some of the men go out and try to kill a couple of German troops. It starts off well killing one on a bike and another 5 in a car. As they are gathering up the resources another truck full of soldiers come through and end a full out gun fight happens. Three or so of the Jews get killed and one of the four brothers gets broken away from every body and is chased down by the soldiers. While the other brothers are forced to go back to the camp. They end up finding there brother in a farm hidden with a daughter and her mother which he will end up marrying the daughter. They go back and the two oldest brothers get in a fight and the second brother goes to fight with the Russian army. The oldest brother stay behind and struggles to keep the camp and the people alive. The camp ends up getting bombed and they have to move. A lot of people die with the bombing and they younger of the brother has a wonderful idea to bind everyone together to get through the waters they have to cross. As they cross the water when they come up on land. They get over ran by the German army with 20 or so men with a tank. The Jewish camp is just about to die and have to surrender and the Russian army comes in with the second brother. They come in guns blazing and kill all of the Germans and save all of the Jewish people.
