Today we talked about how the people who did not do the assigned and how they have to be done and emailed to Mr. Bruns today. If you do not need to do the blog and email it to Mr. Bruns, then we just helped each other and started our blog discussion. We also started looking into our projects due next Monday. Mr. Bruns started talking about our websites again. We also did blog discussion from our assigned blog number 2.Blog Discussion:Zach did his over the Social Security. It provided necessities for people with children, handicapped, and people that are independent.Jenna did her blog over Dorothy Lang who had polio and how she became inspired by drawing during the Great Depression.Nick did his blog over the Social Security Act and how it had three major parts it covers people over the age of 65, handicapped people, and helped people with handicapped children if they can not support them.April did her blog over Eleanor Roosevelt and how she was not very pretty. Her mom died when she was 5 and she went to a boarding school. When FDR got polio, Eleanor was the spokesperson for him. When Eleanor became the spokesperson, the first lady was not very important and now the first lady is very important.Brett did not do his blog, so I have no notes over it.The last ten minutes in class we talked about our Projects and how Barrack Obama is giving the State of the Union Address tonight. Mr. Bruns won’t give us extra credit for watching it and so I’m thinking about not watching it.
